sound issue with 64bit

ive got a Asus K8N mobo but i cant get the sound drivers to work. i install the 64bit drivers ALC850 and still no sound any ideas?
 
try the asus site and i think you should have some luck with the drivers there.there is one driver there for your board for the audio.just enter your details etc about motherboard ,pin and model number you should find it quite easily,hope this is a help to you .
 
ive dl it twice and still no go. ive dl them from the nvidia site and still no go
 
Make sure you have WAVE turned up all the way, I have had people bring me their computers with this "problem".
 
next time i should explain a little better in my issue. if i were to open a mp3, windows media players syas that is not an audio device installed

after a couple of hours on and off working on this i decided to go in the bios. i noitcedmy audio interface was on AUTO. i changed it to Enable and soon as o rebooted windows found the sound card viola! all is good. thx for your help.
