sound file website?

ok I know google is my friend but are there any particular websites that the designers here use to get generic sounds such as a door opening and other things...

I'm designing my cd rom portfolio and my web portfolio and needed some sounds

try ripping open some of the wav files from AIM I think that has doors slamming and so on, encode it into MP3 or some other fairly generic format, and go

Just go buy a sound effects cd. A double disc set can normally be found for under$10
