In a previous thread I indicated problems I was having with udma not kicking in fully.

I was only getting 60[ish] with HDTACH

However my burst now goes off the scale I applied this patch:
    RPP - Raid Performance Patch

Even though I dont use raid it assisted my ATA100 card!!!!

Also try this if its normal IDE you need help with IDE miniport driver v3.0.14

Just realised you are using RAID... that would explain that then :)

Not running raid, have it disabled in the bios. Am running it purely as extra ide`s

    Yours seems up there though?

Before mine was at 60 on the bar chart along the bottom of the "thinger" lol :)

My HDD is meant to be UDMA 66...

It is obviously not that! :(

Also, any IDE activity makes my machine really slow down, I can't even browse the web if I'm burning a CD (Only at 4x!) damnit!

    Another thing:

My Plextor burner will only work in UDMA mode if it's a slave to the HDD, so my second IDE channel is left empty...
