Simcity 3000

How is it possible??

When i've installed SimCity 3000 i'm not be able to play the game. The game wont start. I've tried the compatibility modes (win95, win98, winNT) nothing works.

Does any one have the same problem??? If so does anyone has a solution for this very anoying probelm... i want to play the freaky game...

Sorry for my bad english guy's, but i'm from Holland...i'll do my best...

AMD k6 1.5 Ghz
448 Mb memory
Geforce 2; 32Mb
PCI 128 soundcard
enough free disk space (80Gb)

I dont know why your having problems ...... I can play that fine on my xp .... try to see if you have all the updates and drivers for your puter ( video drivers) seems some drivers work better on some machines than others I had to try a few different sets when I was running my voodoo3000, and was the same with a TNT2 nvidia based card........ but know I seen it here awhile back someone having trouble with simcity3000 .........

I've tried to install several different drivers for mij videocard. But it din't work. Is it maybe possible that SimCity3000 wont run on AMD processors ?

Nothing works....

I'm still trying to find THE solution for this problem..hopefully simcity 4 can run on my pc...

Ik heb hetzelfde probleem met Simcity 3000 World Edition.
Ik heb trouwens ook geen flauw idee hoe het komt. Een paar maandjes later besloot ik om XP er weer eens opnieuw op te zetten aangezien het aardig vervuild en dacht ik ook er weer eens aan om Simcity weer te installeren.....die deed het daarna gewoon weer. De verschillende modes helpen ook niet, ik denk eerder dat dit een registry probleempje is, ook de customer support kon me er niet mee helpen......

Ik heb dit probleem gehad met:

No One Lives Forever
Ground Control
Alien VS Predator 2

Heh, another Laurens, eh? *is Laurens too*

I'm Dutch, but I talk in English anyway. I had SimCity 3000 before and I never encountered any problems, but that was on a 9x system. Too bad I lost the game, so I wasn't able to test it on XP.

Oh well.

Well I'm selling my World Edition of the game since I never play it anymore and......Simcity 4000 is on the horizon!!!!

Check out the previews on the net, they aren't very big or informative but you can see alot of screenshots. SC4000 will rule!!!
