Shuwdown Scripts?

I have 2 computers, both running Windows XP with almost identical software configurations. My problem is whenever I restart or shutdown XP on one of the computers XP displays "Running Shutdown Scripts..." for a minute or so. My other computer doesn't even display that it runs shutdown scripts. So anyways, is there a way I can either disable "shutdown scripts" or do something so my computer doesn't lag on "Running Shutdown Scripts" for so long?

You might want to run a system scan on your machine (anti-virus). Make sure your definition files are up-to-date. This is the first time i've seen mention of 'Shutdown Scripts.'

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
