shutdown problems

you wouldnt have any idea how to solve the shutdown prob have you, i have an atx case and when i goto shutdown the computer it will not power down automatically i have to switch it off by removing the power cable.

Instead of pulling the cable, just hold the power button in for about 5 seconds or so.

Go into your bios and make sure you have your ACPI feature enabled. It's during setup that acpi features are installed, so if XP doesn't pick it right up and fix you up, you might need to do another installation to set it right.

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
