i just finished installing windows xp pro on a new computer, and it works fine except when i shut it down it restarts, so i end up having to cut power to it, to get it to stop restarting. if you have any ideas as to why its doing this i would appreciate them.

i found the problem. after unchecking the option to restart after system failures i restarted. now instead of restarting if gave me a blue screen which told me it had a problem with the file nv_agp.sys i searched the internet and found i was having trouble becuase i have a pci video card. all i had to do was roll back the driver. heres some info if anyone else has the same problem.

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
