Should MPT be able to detect my V3c?

I am aware of the firmware issue on Verizon's phones and whatnot. I found this out after I had downloaded the MPT. I do not feel comfortable flashing my phone and am hopeful that Verizon will release a firmware that enables full file/bluetooth file transfers soon.

Anyways, I am trying to at least play with the MPT features, but the software tells me that it cannot detect my phone. Is this a bi-product of my .04 firmware, or should my phone still be able to be detected? I have installed the driver, if that helps. Thanks!

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
