i have a friend offering this to me. aparently a private school is upgrading there laptops... and he can get 2 for 400 a peice..

what you guys think.

i really want a laptop but dont want a utter peice of crap.

thats a good looking laptop spec-wise...

if I was getting it for $400 I would get it in a heartbeat

only down-side is the old gpu... but if yer not gonna game on it... go for it

also see if you can get a minor upgrade (if applicable) to at least 512mb ram..

can you buy the modules of ram and do em yourself? i doubt i will be abel to do it any other way being the way im getting it not being from the manuf.

$400 is a really good deal for that machine. Go for it. You should be able to upgrade the RAM at a later date if you feel the need to.
