Shared executable question

I A friend of mine has a home network setup which is wireless (WIn XP) and he has a laptop and a desktop PC. His stereo system is connected to his desktop PC. The question is he would like to launch his music from his laptop and then have it play through the stereo connected to the desktop PC. Anyway of doing this fellas. If you need more info just ask
