ME 2, But alot of "artists" that come into the studio nowadays already have their "beats" down in some sort of compressed format (usually mp3, lol).
yes, if the studio is recording the artist from a-z then absolutley you wouldn't use any compressed format...but since alot of folks do the instrumentation at home and just wanna go into a professional studio for the vocal tracks, you hafta adapt.
