I was wondering what programs people use to send large files. My buddy has some homemade videos that he wants to send me, and we have tried aol but its to unstable.

one of you could set up an FTP server and the other could grab it off there...usually supports resume functions in case your connection dies halfway through, too. you might be able to set up a fileserver in IRC, too, but there are some good, easy-to-set-up FTP server programs out there (like BulletProof FTP Server, which is what i use)...

i agree with jawshoouh here :), FTP servers are the best option for sending large files. Most of the latest FTP programs do support resume functions as jawshoouh also explained :D

Sincerly Alex

Yep, FTP is my suggestion to. Or at least something with resume function. Preferrably also CRC-checking (some FTP servers support this).

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
