Senate blocks funding to "Total Awarness"

  1. Yahoo jsut posted a story about Poindexter's "Total Awarness" program.

Let me be the first to say that Poindexter should be shot for just suggesting this sort of thing. Let me tell you why. For one it makes the assumption that this will "catch terrorists" Bull**** to anyone who ****in reads the news about terrorists. You know the reason they can't find Bin Laden? BECAUSE HE STOPPED USING ALL ELECTRONIC TRANSMISSIONS BECAUSE HE KNEW THAT NSA WAS LOOKING FOR HIM! HENSE, TERRORISTS WILL NOT USE CREDIT CARDS AND SUCH FOR THERE PURPOSES!!! This will NOT make us safer--only the middle class, limp-wristed sub-humans will feel "safe". We who have been online even before internet was big knew that the government/powers that be/credit agencies would try something that is completely un-American. And leave it up to 'ole Iran/Contra Boy-genius/general know-it-all/I-am-better-and-smarter-than-all-of-you/I know whats best/ Poindexter to come up with this ****! If any of you think that this will make us "safe" then you must also think that arresting pot-smokers will help in the war on drugs, which in itself is a ****in laugh-riot.
