RSS feed question (OSNN feeds!)

Hey there anyone (mods esp.!) The backgroiund is in this thread but basically I am making a little news ticker that will show me five headlines from a feed. So far as I can see so far (it is the Rainmeter News plugin) it has no scroll capability.

So my question is is there a way to randomize the order of an RSS feed on refresh? And I am guessing this would have to be done at point of feed?

Suggestions please on a post!

By default the new stuff appears at the top, each one has an id that is unique to its newsid (or even forum threadid)
