I am using WindowsXP Prof., while connected on the internet suddenly i get a message that "windows must now restart becoz the RPC server terminates unexpectedly by NT authoirity system" ...

i have a dialup modem is 56k hayes speakarphone V90 ...

please help ...

you got infected by the blaster worm. remove it using a antivirus app and then downlaod the patch form ms

Yeah, it will never go away as long as there are still unpatched boxes out there not running virus scan. People should visit windows update more often. microsoft doesn't exactly make the most secure OS's on earth, after all
