Ripping off sound from a MPEG

    I wanted to know how can i rip off the audio of an AVI or MPEG file to a MP3 file.

    My second question is : If I have a wave sound file and I want it to be converted in to a mp3 file will nero DO it automatically ?

    CDex (free) will do this, among other things, for you. It also comes Lame ready with all the latest 'presets'.
