Right click, Open with...

    How can I clear programs associated to file extensions in the Open with... menu?

    The open with list is stored in the registry at (example textfile):
    HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\FileExts\.TXT\OpenWithList
    You can get a nice little application (runs without installation) from Doug Knox, which lets you modify these lists.

    Even easier
    Left click file, hold shift , then right click to show "open with"
