I recently deleted a ton of my pictures. Along with all the junk I deleted a few of my wallpapers. One of which shows up everytime I shutdown my computer. That tells me that its still saved on my computer somehow (settings file or something else).
Im running XP, I have had this occurence happen to me before and I just wanted to know where it is.

Thanks for the help guys Im sure its not as hard as I think.

By default, wallpapers are in C:\WINDOWS\Web\Wallpaper

    Maybe in there?

Ive already tried looking for it in the web\wallpaper folder it wasnt ther. As for the temp folder I searched the harddrive for the image but it didnt come up.
    Also..
When I right click on desktop to change the wallpaper the listing is still there but no picture.
Anyone else got some ideas or a working solution???

Do a search for *.jpg & *.bmp. See what that's brings up.
