Is there anyway to make it seem(pretend) like a USB key has been unplugged from the system?

Use the Safely Remove Hardware notification icon to "eject" the flash drive while still physically keeping the flash drive in the USB port? Why would you want to and you'd still probably have to physically take it out and put it back in (or reboot?) in order to recognize that it's plugged in again.

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
