Wahahaha i just got a letter from symantec about the free copy of norton systemworks 2003. Here it go's

Dear ****:

You recently requested a Not for Resale version of Norton Systemworks 2003 Professional Edition in response to a message that was either sent to you via e-mail or posted on the internet.

The message that you responded to was sent by Symantec to a limited number of resellers and was redirected to you without Symant's permission. Therefore, we will be unable to fullfill your request for a copy of Norton Systemworks.

And then they continue bout downloading a free trial version

Interesting. Well, the confirmation e-mail that I saved was from Symantec themselves if I remember correctly. I will check when I get home.

And I didn't recieve any such mail yet. Maybe they think I'm a reseller?

I bet sboulema was pestering them for his free copy so they sent him the rejection letter. They'll probably just ignore the just of unless we ask them about it. then will get the "it wasent meant for you" letter.

WinDoctor seems nice.. but what is it really fixing?

I do you Norton Antivirus tho and am completely happy with it as I have never been infected with a virus since I have had it installed.

The last time I got a virus was when I installed Gamespy Arcade before Norton Antivirus.. a few days later Gamespy apologised as their latest release was infected with the Klez virus!!!

I havent heard anything at all about it. I didnt get anymore spam than usual either. I bought System Works Professional 2002 awhile ago and I am set with that. We will see.
