By registering windows xp ( with included wizard : start-run:regwiz/r ) we are able to :
- change the serial
- receive latest updates
- try betas
?
Thanks , Cosmin .

Are you? I don't think you have asked a question, but made a statement!

There's an " ? " right behind , so there's a question .

- Change the CD key:
You can do this without registration. See this MSKB article.

- Receive latest updates:
Again, you can receive updates via Windows Update or Automatic Update without actually registering your copy.

- Try betas:
I doubt this has anything to do with Windows Registration. See BetaPlace for more info.

& my final issue .. how do I recognize a beta version of SP2 ? cause installation " works alone " without user intervention .
( same steps before installing sp2 - for " How to change the Volume Licensing product key on a Windows XP SP1-based computer " ? ) .
Appreciated support .

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
