so far the event viewers error goes like this after rebooting:

The description for Event ID ( 21 ) in Source ( HPFECP20 ) cannot be found. The local computer may not have the necessary registry information or message DLL files to display messages from a remote computer. You may be able to use the /AUXSOURCE= flag to retrieve this description; see Help and Support for details. The following information is part of the event: .

    0000: 00000000 005a0001 00000000 c0070015

Go to System Properties - Advanced - Startup & Recovery Settings and UNcheck Automatically Restart.

Next time your computer encounters an error during gameplay, instead of rebooting you'll get the blue error screen. Tell us what it says. My guess is that it will be IRQ_NOT_LESS_THAN_OR_EQUAL_TO.

If that's the case, you'll need to check to see that you have the latest drivers for all your hardware (especially sound & video cards) from the OEM web sites, not Windows Update.
