Latley when listening to CD's through WMP9 i've noticed I don't get any rear speaker support but I do with MP3's and all other audio.

Is this how it's always been?

There are a few things that could have effected this I think..

Install of the latest _official_ Soundblaster 5.1 Live drivers
Install of the many WMP9 alpha leaks...

Maybe I'm an idiot, but i'm pretty sure i used to have it :)

    Any comments?

Of course the sound should play through all the speakers from a cd , I had issuses with my sound card with winxp was drivers in the end I tried out a few different drivers and found one that works just fine , in my case was one set of speakers was the front ones would work for a while and at one point just cut out all together , since then with the proper drivers its fine works great
