Real Networks is tight-lipped about their codec and has never released it to third-party development. You can use Winamp, BUT you still need to download and install the real player for the codec. After that search for a plugin on winamp to play RealMedia.

Oh, and it even supports converting files from one format to another. It's freeware, and if you pay for it, it supports mp3 encoding too. Very nice.

    Cheers!

You will still need realplayer installed to play those formats with Jet-audio .. If you don't they changed since the last time I used it...

Okay, just tested it on a .RAM file from Real's website. Worked fine without RealPlayer/RealONE installed

Nah, it's clean ... no ad banners, no spyware. The only thing you get extra with the paid version is mp3 encoding.

I would think so, since it plays .avi files and some other video formats. Haven't given it a try though.
