raid1 and gmirror

    (before the man gmirror responses appear)

    can raid1 be setup when installing bsd or is it a case of it will need to be created after install?

    Afaik sysinstall doesn't support the creation of gmirror's during the install process. X might have better info though as I've not used gmirror before.

    I always setup raid1 after install. Its something you can do live with only 2 reboots last time I set it up for the coreix.net nameserver cluster.

    after looking at other things i decided to go with linux - as the box will also be a htpc(part time) and to get all that working on bsd i would have to have installed the linux compat layer, so decided i might as well use slackware :)
