I was told by my friends father that he connected his home computer to his work computers domain and could see all the files hosted on the server. I was wondering if that is possible and how hard was it? It seems like it would be a neat little thing to do.

    thanks,
    mooo

well it all depends how the domain is setup. Obviousally this one has everything shared to eveyrone, or it was setup incorrectly :) If the domain is properally setup you will not beable to see anything, if you are not allowed to.

Actually, the best way is through VPN, but unless you're the IT person at work, you wont be able to do this. There are various other methods but all will usually require a setting on the work server to allow you access unless you're a hacker of course, which it seems you are not. :)
