I know this may seem like a silly question but I'm a newbe here and I don't know "alot" about computers as most do on here.

What is the difference between "total physical memory" and "total virtual memory"? My physical memory is 512MB and virtual memory is 1.72GB.

Plus, i'm not sure if I posted this in the right area of the forum so if i didn't please forgive me.

Total physical memory is the amount of ram you have installed in your case 512 megs. Total virtual memory is the combination of your physical memory and the size of your page file. The page file is a file on your hard drive that the operating systems uses like memory.

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
