Oh come on guys. There's at least one person in this forum that has it in his sig + he's spoken about it. (Incidentally Nick M asked the same questiong then

It's protein folding. Help cure Alzheimer's, Mad Cow (BSE), CJD, ALS, Parkinson's disease and what not. It's sort of like Seti@Home except it's acctually useful right now.

Download the client. Some admin start a team (I can if you don't want to) and get folding. My Linux server is folding 24/7 now. It's not like it's doing anything useful when I'm in school or sleeping anyway.
