    Hiya all
i've noticed windows XP tends to add new start menu items on the bottom, and i've checked, and seems to be because i have the start menu item both in All users and in My user folder
It Would be nice to just forget about having to sort start menu every time i install something new

    any workaround for this?
    Thanks in advance

That's just the way Windows works. 2K was the same way. No way around it. Sorry.

Most older software installs shortcuts on all users, while newer software is designed to ask where and what user you would like shortcuts/profiles to be installed.

I simply cleared the startmenu for all users and moved the shortcuts to my directory since I am the only user.
The only thing you can't move from all users is the startup folder.
