Problems with burning CDs in XP

Here's the problem:

I have Teac CD-W524E recorder, but I can't record data from disk on CDs (blue screen appears). All I can do is copy CDs and erase RW CDs.

Error happens in Nero 5.5.6.4 and Easy CD Creator 5.02d.

Any ideas?

What error does the blue screen give you? does it give you a stop code, or does it tell you the error and file? let us know and we'll be glad to help
