Problem with realtek 8139

my friend just recently purchased a new computer.......I hooked up everything and then I realizd there was no nic card in a pci slot.....So I shoved one in.....everything was working fine......then I went back for a closer look and realized that there was an onboard nic................So I took out the pci nic and shove the network cable into the onboard nic.....

bt now..... I cant get a gig from the internet.....I am recieveing an ip bt thats all......If anyone knows of a posible solution, appreiate it

*I think the pci nic was a rtl8029....

Try going into the device manager and uninstalling the driver for the other NIC.

Also, you can't access the internet at all? It pulls an IP but you can't do anything, right?
