Problem with phone shutting off.

When I close my phone it shuts off. I don't know why it does it and was looking for some help on this. It has full battery charge so there is no reason for it to turn off.

maybe the battery and/or the sim card is loose..even though if it were the sim card it would state "insert sim card" - check to see that you're battery's held in a tight place.

Did you buy the phone new or used?

Take the battery cover off, push the battery up against the leads and then shut it and keep putting the battery up against the leads while seeing if it turns off. If it stays on while you hold it paapimp above was right!
