Problem with link????

today i turn on my pc and when I surf the net it is fine but when I click a link that opens a new window it won't open!!!! I have tried many sites that I know should work and it doesnt. It just keeps loading and loading then nothing. I have Comcast pro , XP pro and explorer 6.0.26 Any I dea what is goin on? I would appreciate any help. It has been like this all day

Try this and see if it helps:

Go to Start - Run and type each of the following commands, one at a time, pressing ENTER after each command. Then reboot and see if the problem has been resolved. If not, you may want to reinstall IE:

regsvr32 urlmon.dll
regsvr32 shdocvw.dll
regsvr32 msjava.dll
regsvr32 browseui.dll
regsvr32 mshtml.dll

Thanks for the help but I had to reinstall it, actually i installed the sp1 update. Any idea what would cause that to happen?
