Just got a copy of 2k this morning, and i partitioned my 80 gb to 5, 4, and 65 gb's. The 5 and 4 are both FAT32. Now, i had XP originally installed on the 5 (C: ), and the left over space was a 75 gb drive. I used partition magic in the morning, to make a 4 gb partition out of free space on the 75. Everything went perfectly, albeit a little long (i slept through it). Anyways, i proceded to install 2k, it stalled without a hitch. Now, when i try to boot into XP, this error pops up..

Windows 2000 could not start because the following file is missing or corrupt:
\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\CONFIG\SYSTEM

I dont have a clue what to do. XP booted fine before i installed 2K, now I get this crap...... :(

I had this same problem a while back and the only solution I found was to have 2k on c: and XP on my d: drive.

I know this doesnt help you out but hey its the best I can do.

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
