i was wonderin if home edition really runs cleaner and smoother.....

i know if it is true it will be not by much but i was wonderin cuz pro has many things running for servers and such that i dont need.....

Pro has some additional features but nothing you cant turn off

please edit and delete your copy of this post from the hardware forums, applications should be good enough.

Well, if you're a gamer, go with home, you don't need pro. It's cheaper too, if you're doing the right (and legal) thing.

Get home, unless you need any of pro's features now or in the near future.

I would prob also go Pro, as if you ever have to connect the PC to a Domain network, then with Home you are screwed
