Pri. slave detected but only partitially read

I have installed my old 30GB HD which has 6 partitions on it as pri. slave to my new 1.4GB compaq with XP. After restating the computer it recognized it as 30GB, but it only reads the first 2GB partition of it. What can I do to read all the partitions?
Can any one help me ?

Please be a bit more specific. Can you tell me what file structure is used to create the partitions? is it fat16, 32, ntfs, other.... Are the other partitions created as extended partiions with logical drives? How is it setup?
