Pretty curious [ Power up PC with HotKEY ]

    Starting with Friday I've powered up my pc using a HOT KEY ( Ctr + F1 ) . Yeah , works :) but I'm pretty curios if this " job " can affect my hardware after time .. Don't know what tot say .. :) .. any ideas ?

    Powering up from a total shut down?? Is that possible?

    Yeah you can. It's a BIOS setting.

    Why would it affect your hardware? :ermm:

    I have tried to do this in my BIOS - never had it work for me BTW... can anyone say why that might be? with meese or kb can cordless make a difference? I have tried it with PS/2 as well though and still no joy BTW...before you ask mobos were ASUS A7V8X-x and MSI Neo2 ..... just curious and lazy on this - only reason for it is to save bending for power button.....

    Hmm , don't know :nervous: .. but it's fantastic .. spent a lot of energy on pressing that .. case button :)

    My Mobo : Epox 8RDA & Microsoft Internet Keyboad .. works great . :) ( option is specified on mobo's manual ) .
