I case anyone is interested, *mad dash for the door ensues* this is what I've done so far to the side door. Man I wish I had a plasma cutter. The old fashion way of layout, drill, cut, grind and file is a bitch. Last pic is today. I should be done this Saturday.

Thing is I am now thinking of leaving it open, without a plexiglass backing. Could get more air circulation. Could also hear more noise from fans. Any thoughts on this by anyone would be nice.

Looking good but you should have made it a little bigger to fit a fan in the center of it. I dont think I would leave it open or you're going to have a dust problem. If you're not having any kind of temp issues then forget what I said about the fan and put the plexi on it.

Naaa...I don't want a fan there. Plus if I made it too big then I would have a prob with the door latch. But yeah I think a plexy will be the order of the day.

Well I finally finished... I do NOT want to do that again. That was a pain, but I think the finished product was well worth it. I also outlined the cut-out in black so as to enhance it's appearance.


There are three pics, forgive the blur... again. The last one is the most stable.

They actually have them in 5 different styles with lots O' goodies. Including, if ya want an AMD Athlon 64. One of them even has a 17" wide aspect WXGA+ display.
