Anyone who uses Pipex ADSL web space.. do you know if it has PHP and MYSQL?
Only 1 thread is needed for you question, the other has been deleted.
Thanks.. I tried to delete it after I saw this forum.
They did not used to and its rare for ISPs to offer both at the moment.
Check the pipex user forum its full of pipex gurus
Found some info:
It does not look like they do but check in the forum above anyway.
No mention of php or SQL only CGI and Server Side Includes
(unless anyone else using ntl/telewest knows different lol)
You would be incorrect about telewest's blueyonder
Right now, this is avaliable:
PWP2 project is devloping this furthur:
I consider myself told
im gonna hijack me mums webspace then lol - she asked me if i wanted it and i said it didnt support what i needed lol
Enyo - you know if NTL supports anythin decent?
You should be aware there are two service levels to BY's PWP, i think the advanced PWP features are a couple of quid more on your bill.
I have no idea about NTL, but they probably impose limits on the webspace just like they do with the broadband service
Files no bigger than 1KB maybe , cant upload at speeds greater that 1K/Sec maybe?
At a glance on the site i could not see anything more than HTML.
Maybe Check NThellword - http://www.nthellworld.com/
ahh right... perhaps i'll let me mum keep the space she may use it one day (no chance!!)
cheers for ur help enyo
