The first Phoenix milestone, 0.1, has been released.

Phoenix is a redesign of the Mozilla browser component, similar to Galeon, K-Meleon and Chimera, but written using the XUL user interface language and designed to be cross-platform. More information about Phoenix is available at the Phoenix Project Page.

I'm a mozilla advocate and all but using Nightly builds for their latest release just ain't right.... If i wanted unstable releases, i'd download the nightly builds myself.

Quite nice when they finish (load times aren't a worry for me... i can live with waiting 200ms for a new window to open.)

No skins support!!! BAH!!!

Nice idea but i'll prolly only use it when they finish (as they said themselves... its not quite lean yet as they want it to be) Not cross-platform yet either. No MacOS/X support yet (and they never will)

No preferences dialog... as fun as diving into the prefs.js file sounds... The dialog just makes my life that much easier =P

Just use Mozilla. Pheonix will probably be good later on. Quite a promising idea actually but i'll stick with my Mozilla for now.

They got rid of the Feedback Agent and added image blocking. It became even closer to Mozilla. Nice.

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
