How do I configure my own machine so that I can test my website locally, I used to use PWS, but I cannot find it, or anything that resembles it.

You are using XP now, yes? PWS is no more. Now you have IIS (Internet Information Server). You may need to install it from the WinXP CD first. After that you will find it in Administration Tools if memory serves me right.

Apache for win32 has just as many if not more security holes as IIS.

    Really ?

People pound at my Apache server all day and not one has ever gotten though.
  7. he said he just wants to test web site, i think 10 connections should be more than enough. and he already has it, nothing else to hunt down...
