Personal damage (!)

Heya

I just heard on my local radio that a swedish scientist has burned his *ahem* ...wang... by using his laptop on his lap. As I happen to be doing this at the very moment, it brought back memories of how I've managed to damage myself on my computer ;)

Anyone got any stories to tell on this topic??

The question is.....What was he doing with his "wang" lol in the laptop in the first place? There are some places it just doesn't belong.

lol, as someone who uses a laptop on their lap for a lot of the day, I can vouch for this guy (kinda) - laptops to get very very very very hot on the underneath - mind you, mine hasn't gotten hot enough to burn through my pants... yet... that's when I'm wearing pants...

The thing is; wouldn't he feel it burning or something?

Quality story though; it just sounds funny :p

Good point, surely you'd feel warming up :D
Laptops do get very hot they're actually meant to be a small height up off the 'ground' to get extra ventilation and can be very un-comfy to actually use on your lap

I have a feeling that scientist was doing something to himself....

lol, now I notice the news story even reached the xperience front page ;)

that story is pure BS...lol

nobody could take that pain and not notice it

HOLY FLAMING MARSHMELLOS BATMAN!!!
THAT GUYS WANG IS ON FIRE!!!

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
