is there a way i can make a cd that will let me erace the current partition in dos?

You could boot from the Windows XP CD, and format any drive you want during the setup procedure itself. Then if you don't want to install the OS, just exit setup after the formatting step is complete.

Win98 or WinME bootdisks have the FDISK utility which you can create partitions with, then format them from the command line. The XP Recovery console also has the diskpart command, and you can also format from the command line, and with the RC, you can format the partitions as NTFS.

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
