I've just got partition magic 7.0 so that i can install windows 98 on my sdecond drive so i can run some programs i'm having problems with in XP.

I was wondering if anyone could be some sort of guide or walk through to put system file on d: and then the following methods for installing windows 98.

In my opinion, the best way to do this is to install 98 on one partition first, then install XP on the other one.

That is only my opinion, though, wait for others to respond before doing that.

Yeah i've thought of that...but i've got XP set up on this one how i like it now with updates, personal prefernces, files..allsorts.

Was thinking however, i could switch the ide cables and the the drives would be switch...that would work wouldnt it??
