Latest Changes:

* Updated English help, and partial, in-progress German translation of help
* User interface now looks and works correctly at 120dpi setting
* Esc and Enter are now global hotkeys for Edit->Deselect
* Fixed a few bugs with the Curves adjustment
* Fixed many systems not launching a web browser to view the help file
* Fixed brush preview rendering when brush width is 1.0
* Fixed 10+ miscellaneous bugs

How would you compair this to photoshop ???

for quick editing images you can't beat it, loads fast and is pretty powerful for a little application give it a try..

I am playing with it now. I am finding that it is quite limited compaired to photoshop. I seen another free one somewhere that used photoshop plugins .. I'll have to try and find it again ...

photoshop replacement indeed no. but a ms paint replacement for quick editiing yes...

where you thinking of Gimp?

I've been playing with Gimp and it seems to be as powerful as photoshop.

Layers, etc.

lol, its no where near even designed to be a photoshop replacement. But it is a neat little app above and beyond MS paint if you need to do some quick image editing. I use it at work cause i only occasionally have to touch up or alter an image every now and again. and its Free!

As for basic editing this is pretty good. It deff wouldn't be used on the professional level though.

Also, Gimp isn't what I was thinking of. It was something else .. I'll have to try and remember what it is .

i have .net framework 2.0 beta 2 and cant get it to uninstall, when i try to install the new framwork, it says uninstall the old...any ideas?

* Full 64-bit support, for both x64 and Itanium systems
* New "Curves" adjustment for editing an image's color curves
* Seven new layer blend modes: Color Burn, Color Dodge, Reflect, Glow, Overlay, Negation, and Xor
* Aesthetic improvements to the entire user interface
* Better performance, especially for 64-bit systems
* Zooming, esp. with the mouse wheel, has been enhanced
* Rewritten layer composition engine is now mathematically correct, and faster
* Deployment via AD/GPO is now much easier (use /createMsi with setup package)
* User interface now works correctly in high-DPI (120dpi, 144dpi, 196dpi)
* Layers window list is no longer "upside down"
* Upgraded to use .NET Framework 2.0
* Many other improvements and fixes

Sweet mother of lord, I don't know how I have missed this post.

I love regular paint and use it heavily, this looks like Paint on steroids. I'll have to play with this when I get home
