What is a good heatsink fan to get to overclock a AMD 3000 ?
I would say thermaltake ( volcano 9 ) but there are different opinions on this subject
The MCX462Plus heatsink (http://www.swiftnets.com/products/mcx462plus.asp) is said to be among the best (regardless of the strange look).
Would any fan be ok with the MCX462+™ heatsink ?
any 80mm fan will fit it. but how much air you want it to put out and noise to make is up to you. there's a whole spectrum of fans out there.
i just ordered that heatsink last night.
if you truly want to overclock... go with water cooling... a good peltier unit certainly helps but make sure you read up on it..
whats your budget? i need to know before i say anything...
my budget, as long as it's not over 150
