Outlook Express 6

    Hello everyone,

    I am having the worst time with Outlook Express 6. When I open it, it takes several minutes for the splash screen to go away and actually display my inbox. Also, if I switch identities, again it takes several minutes to display the inbox. Anybody had similar experiences? I though maybe it was my firewall or anti-virus settings, so I disabled them temporarily, to no avail. Is there a way to re-install just Outlook Express? BTW, if it matters, I'm running Windows XP Pro SP1.

    One of these should work>

    Try this to repair IE
    Start/Run/regsvr32 urlmon.dll

    OR

    To reinstall IE
    Start/run/rundll32.exe setupapi,InstallHinfSection DefaultInstall 132 c:\windows\inf\ie.inf

    OR

    Microsoft

    Thanks alot for your suggestions. I tried everything, but nothing seems to make any difference. I even re-installed Windows XP. I'm at a total loss as to what the problem could be, but thanks for your help.
