In outlook xp, before I reinstalled I was able to use ctl + enter to send email, now I don't have that option, does anyone know how or where I can enable this? Please please help me :( I hate using the mouse and clicking on send, it's so much easier with ctl+enter

    Isn't it Alt+S to send?

    Ctl N

With outlook open, ctl n opens a new email... but that's not what you're looking for. ctl enter doesn't do diddly for me except for add www. and .com onto IE address entries.

What properly happened is you installed Word and are using word as the message editor, and it's keyboard shortcuts over-ride the keyboard shortcuts for Outlook

    but I am just guessing
