just a little something from your friend Henyman ;) This is a complete store listing detailing store number, name, full xbox360 systems and core xbox360 systems that are due to go on sale tonight in Tesco's.
    total full systems =700
    total core systems =400
total Xbox360 consoles for tesco =1,100

This info for individual stores can be found by ringing them but this should save you all a lot of phonecalls to stores to ask them.

Are you sure this won't...threaten your job or anything? Sweet post tho :)

Edit: All of Tesco is getting only 1100 360s in total? How big of an area are we talking about?

good move - Tescos will have more trouble tracing if thety wanted to...

but from my recent online wine order experience they could not organize the proverbial piss up in a brewery online... so a tracerte would be way beyond them! :p

We've only received 4 units at Currys, and they're for preorders only. However, the manager won't be dishing them out until we receive the other models because there's been a cockup in the process of taking preorders.

    That's amazing information!

Grandmaster posted a link to someone who had a DB for American retail inventory, which if I remember correctly was taken down a day after the launch since it was no longer valid. It was something like inputting your zip code and it showed the best buys near you and how many they would have for each type :)

    How is the pre-order situation?

I know I posted this before, which I think is 86'ed, but locally to where I live if you didn't pre-order you can't get one until June in most stores :(

June?! That's a rather extreme estimate, and I am willing to bet you could get one far earlier.

Also, 1,100 for Tesco for the entire UK is...horrible.

I could be wrong, but also I think items in the UK are generally more expensive than they are in the US. Does Microsoft have to commit, and force it to the UK equivalent to $300 and $400 USD respectively?

Historically gamers in the UK have had to pay more than equivalent, but this time Microsoft decided to actually have them somewhat of an equivalent by simply replace the "$" with an Sterling sign. So it is somewhat more fair.

Australians get ripped of the most every time.
