OS X crash log

Anyone familiar with reading a crash log? I'm trying to figure out why Illustrator CS randomly crashes while exporting. Looking at the crash log for Illustrator CS, I see this

Exception: EXC_BAD_ACCESS(0x0001)
Codes: KERN_INVALID_ADDRESS(0x0001) at 0xfffffff4

I've got more information from the log, but this is the basic part of it for now. I've looked around a bit on Google to try and understand this a bit more, but I haven't found a clear explanation of what this means.

I do have some ideas for solving the problem, but right now I'm mainly interested in understanding the crash log, specifically what I've posted above. Thanks.

Easy, it is trying to access memory which is not valid for the program.
